If you are new to boating or already a boat owner, this section is devoted to providing information that you may find useful throughout the research, purchase, and pick-up process.
For generations families and friends have spent time on the water, in the water, in the wakes, in the sunshine, and generally making memories that will last a lifetime. Whether a vintage pre-owned craft or the nicest new towboat, if you are on the water having fun, it does not matter how fancy your gear is, or current your paint scheme. We have seen plenty of people smiling while they are boating with something like the pea-green 1977 tri-hull that grampa bought brand new. To this end, the buying process for your next boat, new or used, should not be a stressful task. Enjoy investigating everything the market has to offer and don’t just “dive in” to a boat purchase based on just one person’s advice. The common thread throughout boating, whether you own one, had one, or are selling one, is that most people who own them and those working around them are passionate about boating. Most of the time people end up in the “boat business” because they love boats and want to share that passion with others. Earning a living working with products we enjoy, and helping people enjoy their leisure time is a large part of the job-satisfaction for those working in the boat business. If you are considering investing in an asset that will bring you years of enjoyment, take some time to consider your options, see what is available, and meet the people that represent various brands in your local area. Boat dealerships are almost always small, locally owned businesses, and if you are buying a boat, these folks will be helpful to you in the future, even if you choose not to make your initial purchase from them.

Now, as you are reading this, we both know that Hyperactive Watersports sells boats and we hope that you will purchase one from us. However Hyperactive started out as a watersports equipment pro-shop (from 1993 to 2001, when we became a Tige dealer) and our focus on those products has never changed. So no matter what boat you own or choose to buy, you are always welcome at Hyperactive Watersports as our passion is all about being on the water and having fun. We realize that differect tastes and different needs can be filled by boat brands other than those that we are proud to represent. So we hope you will consider our boat brands, but if ours are not right for you, we will be happy to assist you in making sure your new craft is properly outfitted for maximum fun on the water. We are still the legitimate experts in products related to wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and water-ski gear. It is how we started over twenty years ago, and what we still get excited about everytime a new delivery of gear arrives or the ice leaves the lake!
