Boats
Hyperactive Watersports takes a significantly different approach to inventory management and boat sales than is typical of the marine industry. Tige Boats does not build boats for “inventory”, but instead allows dealers to order the boat models, colours, and optional equipment on an as needed basis. Tige dealers are not forced to buy more boats than they want or to buy specific models. This flexibility allows Hyperactive to offer buyers the option of ordering exactly the boat they want to include the model, colours, and options of their choice. Hyperactive showcases enough inventory to demonstrate the numerous models and features but throughout the winter months these boats serve primarily as examples of what may be ordered. 
Order to delivery times are typically four to six weeks. A new boat is a very special purchase with the expectation that it will provide many summers of fun. That new boat will be central figure in the creation of all kinds of happy memories and to this end, at Hyperactive we love the idea that a Tige purchased from us, is unique to it’s owner from the placing of the order, through the construction of that boat. Relative to selling boats that have been “in inventory”, often stored outdoors for many months, this custom factory ordered approach makes it much easier (and more likely) for us to deliver a boat that is truly “brand new”. A boat left outside in the elements (even if well covered) is just not as “perfect” on delivery day as the one that was received from the factory a very short time before delivery. 
The process involved in purchasing a custom factory ordered Tige from Hyperactive Waterersports is typically as follows:
- Choose model, optional equipment, colours, and graphics.
– Price quote provided by Hyperactive showing detailed costs of boat, trailer, and optional equipment.
– Trade-In values determined based upon NADA values and local market conditions.
– Exact price of new boat may be “locked in” based on current US/Canadian dollar exchange rates, or allowed to “float” till boat arrives in Canada, or shown in USD. Pricing included freight, PDI, and Alberta Tire Tax.
– 10% deposit required at time of order.
– Production and delivery time is typically 4 – 6 weeks.
– Attend “Tige Owners Night” introdution seminar – April.
– When new boat arrives in Calgary, pre-delivery inspections completed by Hyperactive service staff.
– Final payment due when boat is ready for delivery.
– Coast Guard numbers produced and installed by Hyperactive.
– On water familiarization and final delivery at Chestermere Lake. Lake opens late April for deliveries to begin.
- Boats sold from Kelowna location delivered in Kelowna.
There are no “surprise” costs at final payment time. Price will vary ony if buyer chooses to “float” with US/Canadian dollar exchange rate.
